SYC rankings
RankingsThe SYC rankings are designed with fairness in mind. The philosophy is to favour active and skilled members and still make new members feel welcome.
Dynamic rankings

Ranking system
Sailonline's rankings are computed according to a low-score ISAF-like system: the rankings of every race included in the overall ranking are simply summed up.
If you don't start after registering or don't finish a race, your ranking as shown on the race leaderboard will be taken into account.
If you don't register for a race, the number of registered boats plus one will be used to compute your overall ranking. There is thus never a penalty for registering to a race.
